VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

  • STAFFING ‘Information Tables’ in front of local businesses where members of the public will be able to pick up information about the Redlands Dog Park project and how they can help make it a reality. Most of the volunteers needs for the ‘Information Tables’ will be in the evenings and on the weekends and will likely take place at locations such as Gerrards, PAWS, Furry Face, PETCO & Market Night. (2 – 4 hour time commitment per shift)

  • FUNDRAISING – Although everyone will be helping with this effort, we would like to ask individuals with fundraising experience and/or business and organization contacts in the community to assist. If you are excited about the dog park and know others that would enjoy being part of building something the entire community will benefit from, please help with the fundraising.
  • GRANTWRITING - If you have experience with writing requests for grants, we would appreciate your help! There are numerous animal related foundations that offer thousands of dollars in grants each year. Receiving grants will expedite the process of raising enough money to build the park.
  • PUBLIC RELATIONS/PUBLIC SPEAKING – There are many organizations in the Redlands community that would love to hear about this project. If you enjoy P.R. or public speaking, this would be a great opportunity for you!
  • SPECIAL EVENT PLANNING – In addition to the fundraising brochure, we may hold special events from time to time. Many volunteers will be needed to plan, organize and carry out these exciting events. If you like working with other people and are goal oriented, this may be just the chance for you!
  • CONSTRUCTION – Richard Feenstra President of RAFCO Development is a member of the R.U.F.F. Board of Directors. Richards background is land development, constuction and Architecture.  If you would like to help construct the Dog Park, contact Richard at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. • ADMINISTRATIVE – From time to time we may need help with mailings or distributing materials. If working behind the scenes is your ‘cup of tea’ this may be your calling.
